Description:

Merlot is rapidly becoming a widely accepted premium red variety in Australia. The standout feature is the rich, soft and elegant characters which the wine can exhibit. This wine has been produced from merlot grapes picked in first class condition with excellent sugar and acid analysis. The wine has a deep red, ruby colour with a subtle lifted violet bouquet with vanillan oak adding to the complexity. The palate is rich, rounded and shows a firm tannin finish. This wine has the structure to cellar with confidence for up to 5 years.

Food Companion: Ideal with antipasto, mild cheddars, parmesans and jarlsberg.

Description: The 2007 vintage in South Australia was classed in the high quality category. The wine shows a deep, red colour with youthful , purple hints and the bouquet full of spicy fruit characters. The oak is obvious on the palate and adds roundness on the finish. The soft tannins are appealing and the after-taste is well balanced. The wine will improve up to 5 years if cellared under optimum conditions.
Food Companion: Ideal with flavoured roast dishes, meat casseroles and mature cheddars.

Description: Hunter Valley Verdelho continues to gain popularity as an unwooded dry white wine style. The Verdelho has a brilliant colour with some vibrant green tinges. The lifted freshness and tropical fruit characters are attractive on the nose. The palate shows a clean, balanced and flavoursome finish with a softness that is appealing.

Food Companion: Enjoy with a variety of fresh seafood dishes, salads and chicken-based soups.

Description:

Shiraz is arguably the best red grape available in Australia to make premium sparkling red wine. The inherent richness of character and soft full tannins are the hallmark of this unique wine style.

The colour is a sparkling deep rich crimson while the bouquet shows fresh blackberry fruit aromas complimented by subtle vanillan oak. The palate is lively with intense and persistent flavours. The wine has good structure and a fine balance of tannin and natural acid.

Food Companion: Ideal with Mediterranean flavoured roast lamb, mature cheddars and a variety of beef and tomato-based dishes.

Description:

Brut Cuvee is a carefully blended and matured Australian sparkling wine. The bouquet is fresh and vinous with a light doughy yeast character. The palate is soft and fresh with some herbaceous fruits, slightly sweet but finishing with a crisp natural acid.
